| How Does The Coaching
Process Work? |
First,
coaching is not for everyone. It is for those
individuals who have a strong desire to change
and who are committed to becoming masters of their
lives. As a Life Coach, I am a consultant for
your life – I help you to better strategize
your “life game.” Unlike a therapist,
I do not “treat” your life; I help
you “focus” your life to obtain results.
I don’t make judgments of you; I do validate
and motivate you. As your Coach, I will assist
you in defining your personal values and help
you shape a path toward defined goals. One step
at a time, week-by-week, you will put strategies
into action and generate results that empower
you with life-sustaining skills, and develop a
life-mission statement that gives balance and
meaning to your life.
Depending
upon your desire and needs, coaching sessions
are normally provided weekly, bi-weekly, or three
times a month. The sessions are generally 45 minutes
in duration and are conducted via the telephone.
Face-to-face sessions can be offered if you live
in my area. An Email check-in is required 24 hrs
before a session, outlining any breakthroughs
since the last session, current concerns, new
goals, and questions you might have of me. Together
we monitor your progress, assess outcome, and
tweak the plan, if necessary. Positive thinking
is stressed; stinking thinking is defeated.
