We conduct our coaching
sessions via the telephone. Face-to-face
sessions are possible if you live in my area
of Vermont. (Although I have had individuals
drive from as much as three hours away for biweekly
sessions). The sessions are 45 minutes in duration;
sessions are paid by credit cards (Visa or Mastercard)
in advance of the sessions (this shows a serious
commitment is being made); you pay your own
telephone costs to call in for your sessions.
You are in charge of your own destiny, disclosing
new concerns, past actions, new goals, techniques
you wish to use to accomplish the new goals.
Like a fitness coach (who might require a regimen
of specific behaviors to help you become a more
effective player), I often assign homework,
which I hold you accountable to complete as
agreed upon.
You will fill out a preliminary form before
we have our first informal session (which is
free!). You can get this form by following the
instructions found on the "contact
me" page. If we mutually agree
it would be a good fit for us to continue working
together, I will mail you a few simple forms
in order to gather more information about you,
such as the goals you wish to set, specific
beliefs you have about yourself and the world
around you, and ways you can get the most out
of our sessions together. Each week, 24-hours
before our session, you will email me with answers
to preliminary session questions that outline
the way you desire the next session to proceed.
This helps both you and me to get more out of
the process.
